Aspire Leaders Program (ALP)

About the Program:
The Aspire Leaders Program (ALP) is a fully-funded global leadership development program for low income and first-generation college students aged 18–29. Co-founded by Harvard Business School faculty in 2017, ALP equips young people with the skills, confidence, and network to become changemakers in their communities.

 

Program Highlights:

  • 100% Online & fully funded: Accessible to students anywhere in the world. Enabling a global peer network.

  • Global Reach: Participants from 195+ countries, with a growing presence across India through Aspire Leaders India Foundation.

  • Two Core Modules: Self-paced and interactive content in leadership, social impact, and technology, combined with live masterclasses with faculty from Harvard, Yale, London School of Economics and industry leaders across the globe.

  • Professional Growth: Mentorship, networking, and access to a global alumni portal with scholarships, internships, and job opportunities.

  • Social Impact Funding: Grants of up to $10,000 and mini-grants available for alumni-led community projects.

  • Extended Leadership Opportunities: STEAM fellowships, community engagement, and in-person events.

Student Eligibility:

  • Low income or First-generation college student or recent graduate (within 3 years)

  • Aged between 18–29

  • Motivated to lead, learn, and make a difference

Extended Leadership Program (ELPs)

From Learning to Leadership in Action.
The Extended Leadership Program (ELP) is where Aspire Leaders India Foundation (ALIF) alumni put their skills into practice. Beyond the Aspire Leaders Program (ALP), ELP provides India-focused pathways that connect alumni with scholarships, mentorship, grants, and professional opportunities.

With 60,000+ Indian applicants since 2022 and alumni across every state, the ELP ensures our community has the resources to grow—whether in academia, careers, entrepreneurship, or social impact.

 

ELP Pathways in India

1. Job Readiness

  • Resume and interview training with Mahindra Rise, TalentFarm.AI, and Porter.

  • Virtual job simulations, AI micro-coaching, and industry immersion programs.

  • Ongoing mentorship circles with Aspire alumni and corporate partners.
     

2. Research & Academia

  • Academic Scholarships totaling ₹8 lakhs in 2026 (8 students awarded ₹50,000 each, and 4 students awarded ₹1 lakh each).

  • Access to PhysicsWallah Foundation bootcamps and curated edtech research tools.

  • Mentorship from Indian and global academics to prepare for higher studies.
     

3. Social Entrepreneurship

  • Entrepreneurship Seed Fund of ₹8 lakhs in 2026 (8 student ventures awarded ₹1 lakh each).

  • Incubation and venture-building support through partners like InMobi, Glance, and Startup India networks.

  • Community Action Awards (16 projects awarded ₹50,000 each) to scale youth-led social ventures across India.
     

4. Higher Education

  • Academic Advancement Grants and alumni-led test prep groups.

  • Guidance from alumni pursuing degrees at top Indian and global universities.

  • Partnerships with Ministry of Youth Affairs, PhysicsWallah, and select Indian universities to create admission weightage and support pipelines.
     

5. Creative Careers

  • ALIF Special Award of ₹6 lakhs in 2026 (24 students awarded ₹25,000 each) to support projects in arts, design, and cultural innovation.

  • Collaboration with partners in media, performing arts, and design schools to provide access to creative upskilling opportunities.

  • Alumni-run peer circles for creative writing, filmmaking, and storytelling.
